Lucas Dragases develops independent projects across technology, design and visual art.
His work brings together interests cultivated through entrepreneurship, legal and security studies, aviation operations and his own artistic practice.
His current focus is Erael, a system for Czech law firms. Alongside it, he pursues design concepts including Dragases GT, an automotive project.
Background
Dragases grew up in a small village in the foothills of the Krkonoše Mountains in the Czech Republic. His earliest experience of leadership came through online gaming communities. At thirteen, he led more than one hundred members. At sixteen, he built a community of over four hundred that became a leading competitive group on its server.
He studied a security and legal programme at TRIVIS, gaining a foundation in law and security. During this period, he began making artwork, exploring design and training in boxing.
At eighteen, he entered real estate. At nineteen, he established his first company. His subsequent work included advertising, modelling and managing a jazz lounge. The pandemic disrupted these ventures and led him towards international trade, manufacturing and e-commerce. He also pursued studies in the natural sciences and humanities.
In 2023, he began working at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. Over the following years, he worked with several aviation companies, gaining practical experience in airport operations and security.
Independent projects
While working in aviation, Dragases began studying artificial intelligence and developing his first applications. In 2024, he explored a real estate application with Dubai-based investors.
A personal experience drew his attention to legal AI in 2025. He focused on methods for reducing unsupported model responses, work that attracted the interest of his own lawyer and became the starting point for Erael. By 2026, the project had become his principal focus.
Dragases GT reflects his parallel interest in automotive form and design. It sits alongside a wider personal practice in visual art.

Differential Ancestral Adaptation Hypothesis (DAAH)
A theoretical framework exploring whether ancestral dietary history may help explain individual differences in metabolic responses. The paper proposes biological markers and a research agenda for testing the hypothesis.

The Renaissance and classical antiquity are recurring sources of inspiration for Dragases. His interests include Leonardo da Vinci, Lorenzo de’ Medici, Julius Caesar and Socrates, spanning art, invention, leadership and philosophical inquiry.
Dragases has ADHD and has learned to work with its patterns of attention. He describes his approach as a “hunter brain”: following curiosity, exploring connections and directing intense focus towards problems that matter deeply to him. His work on legal AI grew from one such period of sustained concentration.
His visual interests include dark aesthetics, sculptural forms and automotive design. Outside his projects, he pursues boxing and Muay Thai, spends time with horses and has undertaken rally driving training.
